First, lets address the technological advances. Actually, there is only one technological advance worth our attention but it is significant. The programmable laser sensor has an upper limit of 3,200 dpi. Most high end gaming mice only offer something over 2,000 dpi. All of this translates to unprecedented control. The other major advance is ergonomic in nature. The G9 has several grip overlays to choose from. This allows you to customize the feel to a degree never before realized. The days of one size fits all are finally over. At least, they are for gaming mice. You also have control over the weight of the mouse. A tray slides in the back of the mouse like a bullet clip into a handgun. Incidentally, the weights are loaded into the tray in an eerily similar manner to loading bullets into a clip. All of this sounds pretty good. A mouse that is perfectly weighted and shaped to your individual preference. There is one minor drawback to all this customization. It is tedious and difficult to do. The clips that secure the overlays require 2 hands to get on and off. Adjusting the weight is also a multi-step process. But once you get the mouse set up just the way you like, all these tedious task will be behind you.

Logitech g7 laser mouse review
The Logitech g7 laser mouse is far and away the best wireless mouse available for gamers. It has a bunch of great features which enhance your gaming experience, and there are very few drawbacks. Unlike most older wireless mouses, which would time out when you didn’t move them constantly, the g7 stays online even if you’re not doing anything with it all the time. This by itself is a great feature if you’re playing a game that requires periods of rest followed by quick action.
Another really great benefit that the Logitech g7 laser mouse offers to gamers is the ability to change the speed and responsiveness on the fly. That’s right: no more compromise between speed and accuracy. This mouse has buttons on the side which change the DPI that the laser senses, meaning you can just click up or down on those and go from a slow sedate crawl to lightning-quick response. Obviously, this is a great option because you will often want to move between the two speeds during a game. If you don’t install the included software, you can change it three notches. With the software installed, however, you can go anywhere from 400 to 2000 DPI in 50-dpi increments.
One convenient feature is the inclusion of two batteries instead of just one. Even better, the Logitech g7 laser mouse makes it really easy to switch out between a dead and live battery. You can set your mouse to give you warnings when you’re at a percentage of power that you define yourself. Making the switch is easy, too.
